Sheila's Drapery has been part of Calgary's home decorating scene for more than 30 years. The owner and interior designer, Ted Knapik, has brought his expertise into thousands of homes in Western Canada.

Created in 1978, Ted and Sheila Knapik started the small business working out of their home and by 1980 the business had grown to the point that the operation moved to a store front and has been growing ever since.

We have received Calgary's Consumer Choice Award for the Best Drapery and the Best Blind Store for the past 10 years.

Sheila's Drapery has been the recipient of numerous design awards and has the

distinction of being Calgary's original Hunter Douglas Gallery Dealer.

The designers at Sheila's Drapery are excited to offer an exclusive and intimate retail environment that allows customers to view and operate the complete range of Hunter Douglas products available and easily select window treatments that best compliment their homes.

Not wanting to rest on their laurels, the designers at Sheila's Drapery work very hard at keeping up to date with the newest trends and innovations in the industry. This is why they are pleased to announce that, after extensive training, Sheila's Drapery design team is one of Calgarys only Hunter Douglas Certified Motorization Specialists.

They have been trained in all aspects of motorizing and automating blinds and drapery tracks for the home or workplace and you can see it all in the Gallery Showroom on 16th Ave.

A Message from the President

Sheila's Drapery has embraced the evolution of window coverings by introducing innovative products while continuing to provide professional design services alongside traditional custom-made window fashions.

I understand the need for great products and value, and appreciate the trust that Calgarians have shown me in delivering that over our many years in business.

I believe that there is always something new to discover, some new method to master and share with others. That's why through constant training Sheila's Drapery has enjoyed continued growth and success.

Growing up in Calgary is a privilege and I believe that this comes with a responsibility to represent Calgary and Sheila's Drapery the best way I can. Calgary is no stranger to hard work and neither is Sheila's Drapery.
